Location

Compass Psychology is located in Crissier, West Lausanne.

There is free parking in front of the consulting room. If driving it is within minutes of the Crissier autoroute/motorway exit and if taking public transport it is accessible by the Crissier Centre stop
on the 18, 32 & 54 bus routes.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of counselling as you need to feel comfortable enough to share your thoughts, feelings and behaviours openly, to express what is often kept carefully hidden from others.

What you say during sessions remains CONFIDENTIAL except in special circumstances:
If there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or another person
If I am aware of anything that is reportable under child protection laws
Disclosures related to Terrorism.

Should any of these situations arise, I would discuss the next steps openly with you first.

Confidentiality for Teenagers:
Often parents seek out counselling for their children and teenagers and pay for the sessions. However, for counselling to work most teenagers also need a confidential space to talk about what is bothering them without it affecting their relationship with their parent.
